Under the aegis of the Centre for Women’s Leadership, Great Lakes Institute of Management has introduced a new platform called ‘ENCORE’. Owing to the natural order of nurture, all women at some point feel the need to take a break from their careers to manage their families. Stepping back is simple. However, returning to the workforce is fraught with many complications. Some of these are systemic. Individual concerns such as a feeling of irrelevance and lack of confidence or readiness to return to work, a break in the learning curve, feeling ‘left-behind’ etc. play an equal role in preventing women from re-joining the workforce.
If you are at a similar point in your career, then ENCORE is the perfect choice for you. The ENCORE platform offers short programs spanning a duration of 4 months. With 150 hours of learning across online and face-to-face modules delivering functional skills, soft skills, life skills, and career assistance to help you quickly find yourself poised to start a new and exciting chapter in your professional life.

ENCORE Scholarship
We are offering up to 100% merit cum means-based Tuition Fee waiver to women on a career break pursuing our certificate programs. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic and professional merit and the financial need of the candidates.

Programs
All programs offered by the ENCORE platform typically consist of 3 modules – the first is a functional module focused on technical up-skilling, the second is a business and management skills module focused on personality development, and the third is a career-assistance module.
Professional Certificate Program in Digital Marketing
As ENCORE's first program, we are launching a Professional Certificate Program in Digital Marketing.This program will provide a deep-dive into Digital Marketing with a focus on real-world applications, tools, and frame works led by industry practitioners and Great Lakes Faculty while also offering training in critical soft skills for women to negotiate the workplace and get ahead in their careers. This program is open to all women with the Encore scholarships specifically for women on a career break.
