Dr. Chandrika Raghavendra is Associate Professor of Economics and International Business at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. She holds a PhD in Cross-Border Mergers and Acquisitions from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and a Faculty Development Programme certification from IIM Ahmedabad, and brings over 13 years of teaching and research experience spanning finance, macroeconomics, and international business.

Her research examines the macro-level determinants of cross-border capital flows, with particular emphasis on how institutional environments, supply chain dynamics, geopolitical risk, and sustainability pressures shape international acquisition decisions. Her work has been published in ABDC A-category and Scopus-indexed journals, including Global Finance Journal, Applied Economics, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Research in International Business and Finance, among others. She employs advanced econometric methods, including TVP-VAR, panel quantile regression, and wavelet-based techniques, to address complex, policy-relevant research questions. She serves as a reviewer for the Journal of International Management, Journal of Business Research, International Review of Economics and Finance,  Electronic Commerce Research and other high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
