Pranesh Saisridhar

Assistant Professor - Operations

Pranesh Saisridhar is an Assistant Professor in the Operations area. He completed his PhD in Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (dissertation submitted). 

His research focuses on developing game-theoretic models to study operational decision-making, with a particular emphasis on platform-based businesses in two-sided markets. In his dissertation, he analyses two prominent platform-based businesses: quick commerce and ride-hailing.

Prior to his doctoral studies, Pranesh had six years of industry experience at Caterpillar India Private Limited, where he worked across Operations, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing Engineering.

Outside of academia, he enjoys reading, playing board games, watching and playing sports, and is an avid supporter of Arsenal Football Club.
